Plant Giveaway At Bella Vista Homemaker Centre Site

Demolition work at the former Totally Home Centre to make way for the North West Rail Link is nearing completion, setting the scene for excavation of the Bella Vista station box in early 2014. Excavation for the Bella Vista station box will start in early 2014, and will be used as the tunnel boring machine assembly and launch site for the 9 km drive from Bella Vista to Cherrybrook.

In preparation for this excavation, many of the plants at the former Totally Home Centre need to be removed and the project team would like to give them away to the local community.

Plants, including agapanthus, birds of paradise and buxus will be available for you to collect, at no cost on Saturday, 18 January 2014 from 8am to 11am.

Just go to the site, located at 4 Celebration Drive, Bella Vista. Staff will be on hand to direct you accordingly.

Although TJHD cannot guarantee the life of the plants, every effort will be made to ensure that the root disturbance is minimised, giving them the greatest opportunity for survival.

Bring your own vehicle and the TJHD team will only be too happy to assist you to load them, although no pots will be provided on the day.
