Member for Baulkham Hills David Elliott has urged the Hills arts community to apply for grants being offered under the Crown Resorts Western Sydney Arts Initiative.
Mr Elliott said grants were being offered to help encourage the arts community in Western Sydney flourish.
“Crown has generously offered $30 million if funding over the next ten years for Western Sydney arts projects,” Mr Elliott said.
“This initiative will help expand and enhance the arts capacity of Western Sydney by promoting the accessibility and availability of the arts and supporting projects and organisations that encourage excellence, innovation and creativity in the arts.
“Through this initiative, I hope we will see the arts communities of Western Sydney, particularly those involving people under the age of 35, grow and become leaders in the Sydney and Australian arts scenes.”
Submissions for the 2014/15 financial year close on 30 June. For more information, visit http://www.crownresorts.com.au/crown-resorts-foundation/western-sydney-arts-initiative
