Nominate A Senior In Baulkham Hills For A 2015 Local Achievement Award

Minister for Ageing John Ajaka is encouraging nominations for the 2015 NSW Seniors Local Achievement Awards.

“The Seniors Local Achievement Awards aim to highlight the significant contributions older Australians make to their local community,” said Mr Ajaka.

“We are inviting anyone who knows a senior who deserves recognition for their role in the community to nominate them for an award.

“Each local community now has a platform to show their recognition for the talents, skills and generosity of this impressive group.”

Baulkham Hills State Liberal MP David Elliott said today that the awards showcase the enormous talent there is among seniors in our community.

“We are calling on people to nominate seniors who make a difference to their local community,” Mr Elliott said.

Mr Elliott said he is looking forward to celebrating the important role seniors play in Baulkham Hills.

“The awards are an opportunity for us to show our appreciation and say thank you to these exceptional seniors,” Mr Elliott said.

Nominations for the 2015 NSW Seniors Week Local Achievement Awards are open until Friday 6 February.
