My Christmas Card Competition Winner

Member for Baulkham Hills, David Elliott, today offered his congratulations to the winner of his first Christmas Card Competition.

Olivia Durie, of class 5/6SB at Winston Hills Public School, was confirmed as the winner after judging by Mr Elliott’s wife, Nicole.

Mrs Elliott said the quality of entries was outstanding, with some very good ideas.

“Olivia’s entry was a delightful demonstration of artistic ability, and our community will enjoy seeing her design on my Christmas cards this year,” Mrs Elliott said.

Mr Elliott said that all entries would be on display in his office until the new year.

“It will be a wonderful opportunity for the artistic abilities of our local students to be on display for all our community to see.

“If this is what I can expect for the first year of a contest, I can only imagine the fantastic entries to come in future years when we get more and more students submitting entires!”

Olivia was presented with her award at a school assembly.

ALL ENTRIES ARE ON DISPLAY IN MY OFFICE UNTIL THE NEW YEAR.
