Member for Baulkham Hills, David Elliott, has welcomed grants from the NSW Government for school upgrades and maintenance work in the Baulkham Hills electorate.
“I am pleased that our local schools will receive much needed funding to complete these important works,” Mr Elliott said.
“This is excellent news, especially coming into the Christmas holidays, when upgrade and maintenance work can be completed without disruptions to students.”
Mr Elliott also said he will be fighting for more money for local schools into the future.
“While the funding is welcome, there are other schools who also need upgrade works done, and I will ensure those schools get their fair share of attention from the Government too.”
The schools receiving grants under the Public School Upgrade Programme are:
-Jasper Road Public School: Upgraded Sports Courts Facilities, $86,400.00
-Muirfield High School: Upgraded Food Technology/Kitchen Facilities: $150,000.00
