Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) has completed $2 million of work to improve traffic flow on Norwest Boulevard at Baulkham Hills.
“The project involved upgrading Norwest Boulevard’s intersection with Windsor Road,” Member for Baulkham Hills David Elliott said.
“The median on Norwest Boulevard near the intersection was narrowed to provide an extra lane for traffic turning right into Windsor Road.
“An extra left turn lane from Windsor Road northbound onto the boulevard means there are now two left turn lance and two through lanes.
“On Windsor Road southbound, three through lanes have now been provided near the intersection.
“The NSW Government funded work will improve traffic flow and reduce peak hour delays for motorists at the intersection,” Mr Elliott concluded.
Landscaping on the newly narrowed media will be carried out by the Norwest Business Association using RMS funding.
