Member for Baulkham Hills David Elliott has offered his congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the occasion of the birth of their son.
Mr Elliott said he will have a card available in his Electorate Office for constituents to sign over the coming weeks. The card will be posted to Kensington Palace on 6 August.
“The birth of a child is always a joyous occasion, and all the more so given the birth of Australia’s future sovereign.” Mr Elliott said.
“I join with Australians right across our nation in offering my congratulations to William and Katherine on their new arrival.
“I have a congratulatory card available for signing in my Baulkham Hills office until 6 August. All residents of the Hills are invited to sign the card, which will then be sent to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
“Here’s hoping our new Royal will have the courage of his Great Great Grandfather, who refused to leave London during the Nazi Blitz, the dignity of his Great Grandmother who has lead the Commonwealth through a time of great change, the compassion of his Grandmother who always put first the needs of the sick and destitute and the grace of his mother who brought him into this world.” Mr Elliott said.
