Member for Baulkham Hills David Elliott has begun the Parliamentary Year reviewing NSW Auditor Reports.
In the Auditor-General’s report, Private Operators On-time Running by Region, Mr Elliott identified that “on time” bus arrivals in the Hills area has improved.
“After reviewing the Auditor-General’s report, I am pleased to see that on-time operations have increased to 94 per cent of services,” Mr Elliott said.
“It is important that the timetable is accurate, so people can plan accordingly.”
Mr Elliott expressed disappointment that despite the improvements, the on-time arrivals target was not met.
“Naturally, I’m disappointed that the contractor has not met the target, however, I’m pleased with the improvement.
“I look forward to continuing to work with Hillbus over the coming year to meet the target.
“I am cautiously optimistic that the target will be reached,” Mr Elliott said.
