Baulkham Hills State Liberal MP and NSW Minister for Veteran Affairs David Elliott hosted a meet-and-greet today at The Hills Club to thank local clubs from the Baulkham Hills Electorate for their support in the lead up to the Invictus Games Sydney 2018.

Joined by NSW Minister for Gaming Paul Toole and West Ward Liberal Councillor for The Hills Shire Council Reena Jethi, Mr Elliott commended the following clubs for continuing Sydney’s sporting legacy from the 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games:

  • Baulkham Hills Sports Club;
  • Castle Hill Country Club;
  • Muirfield Golf Club;
  • The Bella Vista Hotel; and,
  • The Hills District Bowling Club.

“I congratulate our local clubs for their efforts in supporting our Invictus competitors who all share one common quality – a spirit that has triumphed over diversity. We welcome the athletes, their friends and family to our beautiful state,” Mr Elliott said.
