MP David Elliott Welcomes New Bella Vista Public School

Baulkham Hills State Liberal MP David Elliott has hosted a tour of the new Bella Vista Public School on Fairway Drive this afternoon for Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

Joined by the school’s new principal, Derek Danby, and the Director of Educational Leadership in The Hills Network, Joanne Marshall, Mr Elliott welcomed the new $50 primary school which will also feature quality sporting facilities that will be available for community use.

“With a rapidly growing population in Baulkham Hills, it is essential that new high-quality educational and community facilities are provided – and we are doing just that for families after 16 years of neglect from the former Labor Government,” Mr Elliott said.

With the new school ready to enrol its first 180 students next week, the project will see the delivery of 40 state-of-the-art classrooms, a new hall and a covered outdoor learning area. The school will have the capacity to service up to 1,000 students in Kindergarten to Year 6 in the coming weeks.
