2019 Baulkham Hills Christmas Card Winner Announced

Baulkham Hills State Liberal MP David Elliott offered an early dose of Christmas cheer last Friday by surprising the winner of his ninth annual Christmas Card Competition at her school assembly.

Evanah Levave from Bella Vista Public School was announced as the winner and received a $100 Castle Towers Gift Card.

The competition’s theme this year was Angels We Have Heard On High and Mr Elliott said he was amazed by the level of dedication our youngest and brightest invested into their unique designs

“I am amazed by the level of dedication our youngest and brightest invest into their unique designs and Evanah’s entry shows that the spirit of Christmas has well and truly arrived,” Mr Elliott said.

Mr Elliott said that all entries would be on display in his office until the New Year, and Evanah’s design would be printed on his official Parliamentary Christmas Cards this year.

“While our community will enjoy seeing Evanah’s beautiful design on my Christmas cards this year, I will be sharing the rest of these magnificent and festive designs from our local students in my office for all our community to view in fascination,” Mr Elliott said.

“We are blessed to have an abundance of artistic creativity and imagination on display across The Hills, and it is a joy to receive creative and diverse designs as more and more entries are submitted each year.”
