Flexco, a prominent supplier to the Australian mining industry, has moved their administration, management, training and manufacturing operations to Norwest Business Park.
Member for Baulkham Hills, David Elliott, said he was delighted with the news that the Hills was set to benefit from Australia’s mining boom.
“With the non-mining sector of the economy struggling under the weight of the carbon tax, I am pleased that Flexco will bring new financial opportunities to our region,” Mr Elliott said.
“Flexco will create 45 new jobs in Norwest Business Park and this will see millions of dollars pumped into the local economy in the future.”
Flexco supplies conveyor belts to the mining industry and other machinery currently imported from China will be constructed in Norwest Business Park.
